Jennifer Alas, Reporter
Jennifer Alas is a 10th grader at Northgate High School in Walnut Creek and a CCYJ reporter. Asked to bring a prop for her profile photograph, she showed up with a notepad and pen, explaining that “interviewing is by far one of my favorite parts of journalism and you can’t do that without a notepad and pen to take notes.”
