Shaurya Chauhan is an 11th grader at California High School in San Ramon, the News Lite editor and social media writer on the school paper, The Californian, and a CCYJ reporter. Asked for a quote that inspires him, he chose, “The longer your future lasts, the shorter your past will become, until one day it is but a tiny fraction of your life,” by Nahida, Lesser Lord Kusanali, from the video game, Genshin Impact. Chauhan says he interprets this to mean, “There’s always time to rewrite your own story (and maybe grab a snack while doing it.)”
