Emma Mayta Canales is a 12th grader at Deer Valley High School in Antioch and a CCYJ correspondent. Asked for a quote or statement that reflect her values, she referred to the film, “Ratatouille”: “You must not let anyone define your limits because of where you come from. Your only limit is your soul.” – Ratatouille. She added, “I can assure you my soul is limitless and anyone who bothers to find my limit will find it is far easier to count all the stars in the sky.”
