Christopher Laursen-Bailey is a 10th grader at El Cerrito High School in El Cerrito and a CCYJ reporter. He has a pencil because “I love to write, and find power through language. I think language is a ubiquitous social currency. Those who manipulate it manipulate the world, and those who use it justly help to uphold justice.”
